Sorting means arranging the data either in ascending or descending order. The records in a table are not stored in any paricular order. To sort data, follow the steps given below:

• Place the cursor on the desired field.
• now, select either ascending or descending option from the sort and filter group on the home tab.
• you will observe that the records will be sorted accordingly.
